Story Line
Just Friends is a romantic comedy about Chris Brander, a once-overweight high school student who was friend-zoned by his crush Jamie Palamino. Years later, Chris returns to his hometown as a successful music executive, confident and changed. While trying to win Jamie’s love, he faces his eccentric pop-star client Samantha, who unexpectedly complicates his life. As old memories resurface, Chris learns about self-acceptance, friendship, and true love. Misunderstandings and comedic situations lead him to realize that real relationships cannot be forced.
