Story Line
“Father of the Bride” (1991) tells the story of George Banks, a devoted father whose life is disrupted when his daughter Annie returns from Europe engaged to be married. Struggling to accept her growing independence, George faces emotional turmoil and the chaos of planning an expensive wedding. As costs and tensions rise, he learns to let go, embracing change and family love. In the end, he discovers that accepting his daughter’s marriage is also accepting her happiness and future ahead.
