Red One (2024) is an English-language Christmas-themed action comedy adventure directed by Jake Kasdan. The movie brings together a mix of action, fantasy, comedy, and holiday adventure, presenting a unique story set around the mysterious world of Santa Claus and Christmas.
The story begins when Santa Claus, known by his codename “Red One,” is mysteriously kidnapped from the North Pole. With Christmas approaching, an urgent mission is launched to find Santa and bring him safely back home.
To complete the mission, Callum Drift, a highly skilled security operative responsible for protecting Santa, is forced to work with Jack O’Malley, a clever but reluctant bounty hunter. Although the two have completely different personalities and approaches, they must put their differences aside and work together to save Santa.
Their search takes them across a magical world filled with unusual creatures, dangerous enemies, secret locations, and unexpected challenges. Along the way, the duo discovers that the kidnapping is part of a much larger plan that could affect Christmas and the entire magical world.
